Privacy Policy

1. Scope and operator

This policy applies to the unofficial fan-made NTE Life tool at ntelife.kr. It is operated by the ‘NTE Life operator’ and is not an official service of the game developer, publisher, or OpenAI.

The privacy and operator contact is theojin31@gmail.com. The checklist works without an account; ChatGPT sign-in is used only when you choose cross-device sync.

2. Purposes and data minimization

Information is processed to provide the checklist, sync progress, select a server region and reset time, verify public sources, secure and troubleshoot the service, and administer enquiries and the community as described below. Personal information is not sold or used for targeted or cross-context behavioural advertising, credit decisions, solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, or user profiling.

NTE Life cannot access your ChatGPT password or conversations. It uses the email and optional name supplied by the sign-in provider for authentication and account identification; the signed-in page may display the name or email.

NTE Life stores checkmarks, Character Pixel values and account-specific sync identifiers, base records, revisions and pending edits in browser storage. Server selection applies to the current visit; an older saved choice is not automatically restored. It does not directly set advertising or analytics cookies. When you sign in, the authentication provider may manage an essential session, and hosting or CDN providers may set strictly necessary security cookies (such as Cloudflare's __cf_bm) to detect bots and prevent abuse.

3. Lawful bases

For users in the EU, EEA, and United Kingdom, requested checklist and sync processing relies on performance of a contract or steps at your request (GDPR and UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention rely on the operator's legitimate interests in keeping the service safe and available (Article 6(1)(f)). You may object to legitimate-interest processing by email.

For users in Korea, requested service processing relies on Article 15(1)(4) of the Personal Information Protection Act, and strictly necessary security and troubleshooting may rely on Article 15(1)(6). Other jurisdictions are handled under the lawful ground applicable to the specific, disclosed purpose.

If applicable law requires consent for a particular new use, NTE Life will provide a separate notice and obtain the required consent before that use begins. If you do not provide information needed for an optional feature, only that feature is unavailable; the account-free checklist remains available.

4. Providers and international processing

The NTE Life operator determines the purposes and means of processing on this site. OpenAI hosts it under the applicable data-processing agreement, using Cloudflare-based computing, storage and delivery. OpenAI's own Privacy Policy separately covers its account and sign-in processing.

Under OpenAI’s published standard terms, the account used to operate the site determines the DPA: the Sites DPA for individual accounts, or the applicable general or organizational agreement for Business and Enterprise. The agreements and subprocessor information are linked below. We do not guarantee storage exclusively in a particular country. Even signed-out page delivery and security involve provider processing. Email the operator for information or an available copy of applicable transfer safeguards.

Ko-fi, Toonation, CHZZK, Twitch, YouTube, Discord and cited sources apply their own privacy policies. External links do not include your checklist or account identifier, and NTE Life does not embed payment or community widgets. Support is optional and checkout takes place on the external support service. This site has no payment-information fields. The information the operator may receive on external services is described below.

• Recipients: the OpenAI entity for the applicable authentication service or hosting agreement, and applicable subprocessors including Cloudflare. Account and hosting roles are distinguished above
• Data: email, optional name, and session during authentication; SHA-256 identifier, checkmarks, Character Pixel value and timestamps for sync; standard network and security logs on access
• Countries: the United States and other countries where providers and subprocessors operate infrastructure; actual locations may vary with location, routing, and availability
• Timing and method: encrypted network transfer when you access, sign in, or request sync
• Purpose and retention: authentication, page delivery, sync storage, security, and troubleshooting. The service database record remains until you delete it or sync ends; provider logs and sessions follow provider policies
• Choice and effect: do not choose sign-in or sync, or delete the account sync record. Cross-device sync will be unavailable, but the browser-only checklist remains available

5. Your rights and complaints

Email the action you want, the relevant record and a reply address. A page or original source URL helps locate public records. Do not send passwords, national identifiers or full identity-document copies. If identity or authority must be verified, we will explain a minimal verification method separately.

Under applicable Korean law, access requests are normally handled within 10 days of receipt. Correction, deletion and restriction requests receive necessary action without delay and a result notice within the statutory 10 days. Legally permitted delays or refusals include reasons and ways to challenge them. Applicable EU/EEA and UK requests normally receive action information within one month, subject to lawful extension or refusal procedures.

Depending on applicable law, you may request confirmation, access and a copy, correction, deletion, restriction or cessation, objection, and portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. If a legal exception applies, NTE Life will explain the basis.

You can correct checklist values directly and use the controls below to delete browser records and the signed-in account's sync record. Send other requests or complaints to theojin31@gmail.com. Only the minimum information needed to verify account ownership will be requested.

You may first ask the operator to resolve a concern. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work, or where the alleged infringement occurred, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office where applicable.

6. Retention and deletion

Deleting account sync records removes the row from the active service database. Provider recovery history, backups and security logs are not necessarily erased immediately; applicable agreements and retention policies govern them. The operator handles rights requests for site records and seeks provider assistance when needed. Requests about your OpenAI account itself can also be made at privacy.openai.com.

Signing out does not delete synced progress. Browser records are separated by signed-in account. Deleting account sync records removes its service database row; other device copies clear when they reconnect and sync. An open page requesting sync after deletion may create an empty revision record for conflict protection, without restoring the deleted checkmarks or Pixel values. After you delete a sync record, using the checklist again while signed in may create a new record at your request.

If the service closes, sync records that are no longer needed will be deleted without undue delay. If law requires retention, or limited preservation is necessary to handle a dispute, the data will be separated and kept only for that scope and period before deletion.

7. Safeguards and incidents

The service database stores a SHA-256-derived identifier instead of the original email, and the sync API verifies the signed-in user on the server. Input limits, transport protection, and infrastructure access controls appropriate to the processing risk are used.

The hashed identifier is pseudonymous personal data that links the same account. Hashing the email does not make the records anonymous. If a personal-data incident requiring notice is confirmed, NTE Life will take mitigation steps and notify affected people and authorities as required by applicable law.

8. Children and teenagers

The checklist itself works without signing in. Sign-in and cross-device sync are intended for users aged 16 or older. Younger users should use the checklist without signing in and obtain help from a parent or guardian where local law requires it.

NTE Life does not seek to knowingly collect a child's personal information. If it learns that child data was processed without legally required consent or authority, it will verify and delete it promptly. A parent or guardian may contact the operator by email.

9. Public build and team sources and correction requests

Personal-data rights requests follow statutory procedures and deadlines separately from ordinary guide corrections. You may also request the collection source, purpose and information about restricting processing. Reddit self-report titles omit separate usernames, and source-group identifiers preserve duplicate relationships. Original links can still identify authors; this is not anonymization.

Console and team statistics summarise public gameplay results, gear, team compositions and use records from webpages, videos and posts. They may include public author identifiers needed to verify sources and duplicates. Source links can identify the original author. Public availability does not give unrestricted reuse permission. NTE Life does not seek private account data or sensitive information and aggregates only necessary public fields.

A source creator or affected player may email the relevant record and requested action for review of a correction, source change, or removal. NTE Life assesses public availability, accuracy, citation need and the person's rights. Personal-data rights requests follow the statutory procedures above; ordinary editorial reports receive a review outcome.

10. External support, community and email

Support through Ko-fi or Toonation is optional, and checkout takes place on the external service. Ko-fi shares the supporter's display name, email address and any optional message with the creator. Toonation's creator tools may display the supporter's nickname/account ID, support amount and message. Additional information shared by a payment service depends on the payment method and that service's policies.

This site's deletion controls cover checklist records in your browser and account sync records; they do not delete support or payment records held by external services. Check each service's notices for visibility, retention and deletion of its records. Enquiries sent separately to the operator are covered by the email guidance below.

Joining Discord is optional and is not required for the checklist or sync. A link alone does not sign you up or join the server. Information you give directly to external services is covered by their policies; using a platform does not transfer the operator's responsibilities for information the operator receives.

Your Discord profile and posts may be visible to people with access to the server or channel. The operator may review relevant information to moderate the server and handle reports. Do not post private or payment information in public channels. Review Discord's notices and permissions before using bots or apps.

Information you send by email is used to respond and carry out necessary follow-up. Do not send passwords, full card numbers, national identifiers or other unnecessary information. Operator-held information is deleted when its purpose ends; records required by law or for a specific dispute are kept separately only for the necessary scope and period. Platform-held records are managed under each service's settings and policies.

11. Changes and contact

Material changes affecting collected information, purposes, or user rights will be posted here with a new effective date before they take effect.
